Kintbury
Kintbury Wharf on the Kennet and Avon Canal, Berkshire.

Venue description: Approximately half a mile of canal either side of Kintbury Lock. The top end of the fishery is fairly wide and a carrier from the River Kennet provides some flow in this section.

Species: Roach, bream, perch and pike with the odd tench, trout, carp and grayling.

Parking: is in a public car park next to Kintbury Lock.

Additional facilities: Public toilets available at Kintbury Lock.

Comment: A typical canal fishery with small fish dominating although there are some good roach and very large perch. As the canal is fed by a carrier at the top end of the venue there is always the chance of a surprise river fish turning up in your catch.
