East Peckham
River Medway near East Peckham.
Venue description: Approximately half a mile of single bank together with a short stretch of the tributary River Bourne.
In the main the river is slow and deep although the Bourne is only shallow.
Parking: Parking is in a locked field.
Species: Roach, bream, perch, chub, pike and the occasional carp
Comment: An ideal water for those who like a nice days fishing in pleasant surrounding.
The bulk of bags are made up of roach to around a pound in weight but sometimes a bream shoal will turn up and give the angler a dozen or so fish up to four pounds.
There are plenty of pike for the predator angler along with a few very big perch. Night fishing is permitted.
