Venue description: Approximately one and a half miles of the River Thames including Old Windsor Weir pool. The river below the weir is largely free of boat traffic due to the long lock cut that re-enters the main river below our section.

Parking: There is a locked car park at the end of the farm lane which leaves members with one field to cross to reach the river. Additionally there is a public layby on the main road which gives access to the upper part of the fishery.

Species: Roach, dace, bream, barbel, chub, perch, pike, eels and some carp.

Comment: During the warmer months the section immediately below the weir is most popular because of the limited boat traffic. Here silver fish bags of up to twenty pounds have been recorded in matches. When there is colour in the water barbel, bream and chub show up in catches. The weir pool produces barbel to over twelve pounds, along with plenty of bream in five to seven pound class and lots of pike. Barbel, bream and chub are also caught from above the weir. Night fishing is permitted (special rules apply).
