Midgham
Midgham on the Kennet and Avon Canal, Berkshire
Venue description: Approximately half a mile of canal shared with Reed Thatcham AC. The canal is fairly wide in places and has a gentle flow due to an outfall at the bottom end of the fishery.
Species: Roach, bream, chub, perch, pike and the occasional dace, tench and big carp.
Parking: In layby on public road.
Comment: Another typical canal stretch which is fed by a Kennet carrier at the top end making the next fish very unpredictable. Big perch and carp plus some chub supplement the small fish present.
